Hurricane Irma is no more but her wrath is still being felt on Miami Beach and all over Florida. As our City recovers and rebuilds, let us remember our neighbors to the South that bared the brunt of this catastrophic storm.
Please help the Keys recover by donating supplies to Fire Station No. 2 or City Hall by 12 PM today, September 13.
Overnight, the Miami Beach Fire Department assembled a team to deploy to Monroe County and render aide to thousands of families in need. Our brave firemen are requesting donations for the fire teams to take with them. The following items are being requested and can be delivered to Fire Station No. 2 (2310 Pine Tree Drive) or Miami Beach City Hall (1700 Convention Center Drive) between now and noon.
- Non-perishable food
- Empty reusable fuel tanks
- Insect Repellents
- Baby Wipes
Thank you for your solidarity and please keep everyone affected by Hurricane Irma in your thoughts and prayers.
Commissioner Ricky Arriola
